In Holland,in the region of the bulbs, Saturday April 21 will unfold the most famous flower parade in the Netherlands, which will extend from Noordwijk to Haarlem (40 km), crossing the 'Keukenhof Corso Boulevard'.
The procession consists of about twenty floats and more than thirty luxury cars , richly decorated with floral decorations. Several musical groups will enliven the party with live music. The parade departs at 9.30 am and arrives from Noordwijk to Haarlem at 9 pm, after being passed in the early afternoon, around 15.30, in Keukehof Corso Boulevard, also called the face of spring. If you have never heard about it, here is explained Keukenhof: famous throughout the world, and for sixty years a popular destination in the Netherlands, Keukenhof is a park of 32 hectares with more than seven million flowers, whose bulbs are buried by hand. About tulips, the most carachteristic flower of Holland, 4 million and a half tulips will bloom of 100 different types. There are 15 kilometers of walking paths, one is called Walk of Fame and tulips are named like famous people. The parade passes precisely through the Keukenhof Corso Boulevard and we recommend that you look at it from here. Colors elegance fragrances: the show every year suggest fashions inspired directly from nature. Daffodils, tulips, hyacinths and other flowers are used to create figures that parade on wagons amazing the audience with a different theme each year. The park is open from 22 March to 20 May, daily from 8 till 19.30. (the box closes at 18.00)
From 22 of March 2012, visitors can take the bus to Keukenhof from Amsterdam, Schiphol, The Hague and Leiden.
